🔸A heathy diet helps to protect against malnutrition in all it's form, as well as non communicable disease, including such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer.  🔸Eating atleast 400 g Or five portions, a fruit and vegetables per day reduce the risk of NCDs.  🔸Most people consume too much sodium through salt and not enough potassium which leads to high blood pressure risks of heart disease and stroke.  🔸Limit the consumption of foods and drinks containing high amount of sugar.  🔸Reducing the amount of total fat intake to less than 30% of total energy intakr helps to prevent unhealthy weight gain.  🔸Consume plenty of water to keep the body hydrated.  🔸Limiting the consumption of salty snacks.
